Shorts HD Bring Oscar Nominated Shorts To The Big Screen

Every year Shorts HD brings audiences around the world the chance to catch the Oscar-nominated shorts to the big screen. They present three separate theatrical events, one for the live-action shorts, one for the documentary short and one for the animated shorts. This year, you can catch the shorts on more than 500 screens across the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe on February 10th. Special previews will also take place in New York from February 8th.

This year's animated line-up consists of Blind Vaysha from Canada's Theodore Ushev, Borrowed Time from Andrew Coats and Lou Hamou-Lhadj, Pixar's Piper (directed by Alan Barillaro and Marc Sondheimer), Pear Cider and Cigarettes from Robert Valley and Cara Spelle and Patrick Osborne's groundbreaking Pearl.

Find out if there's a screening near you here. Shorts HD will also make the films available to buy online via platforms including Amazon and iTunes from February 21st.
