'Dragon Ball Super' Dub Cast Announced

Dragon Ball fans outside Japan had been waiting for Dragon Ball Super for quite some time, before it finally started simulcasting earlier this year via Crunchyroll, Daisuki and Anime Lab (for fans down under). Shortly after, Funimation also started streaming the subtitled episodes- but also promised that an English dub was in the works.

The first details have now been announced about the dub as the cast has been revealed. Fans of the previous Funimation dubs will be relieved to see that most of the cast from Dragon Ball Z are reprising their roles in the latest instalment of the franchise.  Seán Schemmel is back as Goku, Christopher Sabat is Vegeta, and Krillin will once again be voiced by Sonny Strait -reprising roles they have played for many years.

The cast is largely consistent with the two most recent movies, Battle Of Gods and Resurrection F,  and the dubs of Dragon Ball Kai. The full cast is below:

What we don't yet know, however, is when this dub will be available and where you will be able to see it. Presumably, it will be available to subscribers of Funimation Now in the US and Canada and be available on DVD and Blu-ray eventually, but could it debut on TV first? Stay tuned and we'll bring you more information when we get it!
