Nominees Revealed For First Quirino Awards

The Quirino Awards as the first awards designed to celebrate the animation produced in Ibero-America (Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries). The first ceremony will take place on April 7 on the Spanish island of Tenerife, and will be accompanied by a co-production forum and Congress taking place  April 6-7.

The nominees for the first iteration have been announced.There are 54 nominees across 9 categories. The nominees represent 10 countries, with the highest number of nominations going to Spain (21 in total)  Mexico (with 12 nominations) and Brazil (9).
