'April and The Extraordinary World' Dubbed Trailer Debuts

We're just a few days from the March 25th New York opening of GKIDS' gallic Steampunk adventure romp April and The Extraordinary World. With the release fast approaching, the distributor have released a brand new trailer for your enjoyment. This will be rather familiar to you if you watched the last trailer.. in that's it's essentially the same with one, fairly major, difference- it's now dubbed in English.

We had previously assumed that this was going to be a subtitled only release, but it's now confirmed not to be the case. The English cast includes Susan Sarandon, JK Simmons, Paul Giamatti and Arrested Development's Tony Hale.
It sounds like a typically brilliant, slightly quirky and indie cast for a GKIDS release. They don't typically go for the big names but instead go for actors of a high calibre. You can't really go wrong with JK Simmons, can you?

April and the Extraordinary World opens March 25th at the IFC Center NYC, and will expand to more markets throughout April and beyond. Check the updated list of screenings here.

According to the film's official site, Matinee showings will be in English, with all other screenings playing in the original French version. Check with your venue for details.
