Disney Debuts New Art and Details for 'DuckTales' Reboot.

Life is like a Hurricane... The news that Disney were bringing Scrooge McDuck and family back to the small screen for more DuckTales was met with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Yet with every bit of art or information revealed so far, it has become looking increasingly likely that this is going to be a reboot that will live up to its original. It's a Duck Blur!  Via Entertainment Weekly, we now have some more fantastic looking artwork and some further details on the new series.
The new DuckTales will air on Disney XD starting in Summer 2017, although no specific date has been announced just yet. The initial order will include 21 half-hour episodes and two hour-long specials. The latest artwork gives us our first look at the new look for LaunchPad McQuack, another character from the original set to make a return.

Alongside Scrooge, Donald and nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, also returning will be Webby (niece of Scrooge's housekeeper, Mrs Beakley) who is set to have a beefed up role this time around.

The new DuckTales looks set to revive the sense of adventure of the original- and the Carl Barks comic strips that inspired it) if the art we have seen so far is anything to go on. We would hope that they even go on to solve a mystery, or re-write history, at some point in the new show.

EW also debuted a teaser trailer, although it doesn't contain any actual footage from the show. What it does do, however, is suggest that the new show will bring back the classic theme tune (woo-hoo) much to the relief of those who grew up on the original. Check it out below:
