The First Emile Awards Nominations Have Been Announced

The Emile Awards aka The European Animation Awards are set to take place for the first time next month in Lille, France. Established to provide a counterpart to The Annies for European-made animation, the ceremony will celebrate animation produced across the continent.

At 11AM GMT on November 6, the inaugural year's nominees were announced by Aardman Animation legend (and Emile President) Peter Lord.  The ceremony will take place on December 8, 2017. The full list is as follows:
