Tomm Moore Retrospective Exhibition Coming To France.

After previously having been the subject of exhibitions in their native Ireland and the US, Cartoon Saloon continue their quest for global domination, with an event coming to fans in France. In this case, it is to be a retrospective on the Studio's biggest name, double-Oscar nominee Tomm Moore.

La magie des images de Tomm Moore- "The magic of images", looks back at Moore's career to date, taking in The Secret Of Kells, Song Of The Sea and his work on The Prophet. It will include a rare chance to see original work by Moore, including sketches and other artwork created at various stages of production on all the films so far. The venue will also offer workshops and other hands-on animation opportunities for those interested in the process itself. This looks like it's going to be very much in the same vein as the exhibition held in Ireland earlier this year.

And it's in a pretty impressive location as far as they go as well, 13th Century Castle Château de la Hunaudaye (Hunaudaye Castle) located in Côtes d'Armor, Brittany. The exhibition will be opened by Moore himself on April 30th, and it will be open until June 30th and then return for an encore between October 20th and 31st 2016. Tickets are E 5.50 (concessions 3.50). More details about the venue here. Looks like a must-see for any animation lovers in the area!
