'Isle Of Dogs' Cast Interviews and VR Behind The Scenes Videos Released

Not just the animation world, but the wider community of film fans are eagerly anticipating this month's release of Wes Anderson's Isle Of Dogs. The indie auteur's return to stop-motion won him a historic Silver Bear Best Director award at Berlin International Film Festival and has been attracting rave reviews.

Ahead of the film's release, Fox Searchlight have released a short video featuring (animated) cast interviews. Made over three months by the UK-based team behind the animation, it features the audio from cast interviews. In a similar style to the classic shorts Creature Comforts, animation has been produced to fit the audio, featuring the characters the actors play in the film.

The video features Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Scarlett Johanson, Jeff Goldblum and more. It's a beautifully done piece that will only make you more excited for the film. They're good dogs.

Meanwhile, another new video gives you the opportunity to go behind the scenes on the short in virtual reality. The 360° video allows you to "experience the world of Wes Anderson's upcoming film, face to face with the cast as they are interviewed on set, while the crew works around you to create the animation."

Isle of Dogs arrives in select cinemas in the US on March 23, expanding from March 28 (nationwide from April 6). The UK release follows March 30 (with some previews March 24).
