'My Hero Academia' Movie 'Two Heroes' Coming To UK Cinemas

My Hero Academia is one of the most successful anime and manga franchises of recent years. Its combination of classic Shonen tropes with western style Superhero elements has ensured a breakout popularity beyond the normal anime fandom.

Following three seasons of the TV seies, 2018 sees the release of My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, the franchise's first movie outing. Funimation Films screened the film in a limited run in the United States, proving successful enough to become one of the top 10 anime movies ever releases there.

Now Manga Entertainment has announced that the film will be screening in cinemas in the UK and Ireland on December 4. 2018. The film will screen in both English dubbed and original language versions.

The film sees our hero Deku and mentor All-Might invited to I-Expo, the world’s leading exhibition of Quirk abilities and hero item innovations and meets Quirkless girl, Melissa. When the Expo is hacked by villains, our heroes must step up and save the day.

We truly hope audiences here are just as receptive as US fans have been – it is a phenomenal film and we can’t wait for everyone to see it" says Andrew Hewson, Manga's Marketing Manager.
