Netflix News: Hoops, Trollhunters Rise Of The Titans, Aggretsuko and More

In a relatively short space of time Netflix has become one of the biggest producers of animation. Barely a week seems to go by without some sort of new announcement or development from the world of Netflix animation.

Guillermo del Toro and Marc Guggenheim's Tales Of Arcadia trilogy reached its culmination with the launch of the latest series Wizards, now streaming. But fans who are already missing the world of the series have been given something to look forward to. It has been announced that the Arcadia franchise will end with a brand new movie entitled Trollhunters: Rise Of The Titans. The movie is the final piece of the puzzle that makes up the interlinking series that comprise the Arcadia trilogy. It's set to be an epic finale and GDT describes it as an "all-stars reunion", bringing the characters from all three series together, completing the journey begun with Trollhunters. The film will be directed by Johane Matte, Francisco Ruiz Velasco and Andrew L. Schmidt and is set for a 2021 release on Netflix.

New sports-based adult animated comedy Hoops has a full-length trailer ahead of its August 21 debut. Spider-Verse star Jake Johnson stars as a failing high-school Basketball coach who decided to try and turn his team around to avoid losing his job. Be warned, it's got more f-bombs than a cheerleader could shake a pom-pom at.

Dinos versus teens movie spin-off Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous has a new poster. The series arrives September 18.
