Johnny Spittoon

From Aardman Animation's off-beat channel Aardboiled comes this commercial parody. Taking its inspiration from a very familiar style of advertisement, this short from Neil Whitman is a brilliant send-up of country music cliches.

The Shadow (Teddy's Tale Part One)

In a rare example of longer-form storytelling, Simon's Cat has put out a three-part tale, all of which are now available. The story features Teddy, a local stray cat and how he came to find a home. It's irresistibly cute and funny as Simon's Cat always is. Check out the first part, here.

Animal Crossing Vs Love Island

The most wholesome video game series out there takes a turn when it gets gatecrashed by the cast of Love Island. Despite Tom Nook's best efforts to try and be welcoming to the newcomers, even he has his limits.  The video comes from Mashed, with animation by EpicFaceFist and is written by Tommy Hurst.

Fire Again

From the people who brought you the instant classic Arcanecomes this new promotional music video. Made to tie in with their game Valorant (as opposed to Arcane's League Of Legends) this has more of an anime-esque 2D aesthetic than some of the other promotional shorts and videoes we've seen from them. It's a kinetic and exhilarating watch.

The Ultimate Spirited Away Recap Cartoon

Cas Van De Pol's animated recaps have tackled Studio Ghibli before, with his bonkers retelling of the beloved My Neighbour Totoro. Now he has followed it up with the ultimate Spirited Away recap video. And it's just as manic and unhinged as you would hope for it to be.
