Cartoon Network Announces Complete Series Collections

This month marks the 30th Anniversary of Cartoon Network. The company will be marking the occasion in several ways. The first of which is the announcement of several titles coming to home entertainment for the first time.

It has been revealed that Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends will be coming to DVD for the first time and Courage The Cowardly Dog will be coming to digital. All three series were produced by Cartoon Network Studios.

Ed, Edd and Eddy ran for 66 episodes from 1999-2009. The series was created by Danny Antonucci and revolves around three friends as they struggle through puberty. They may have the same first name and live in the same Cul-de-Sac, but they have very different personalities.

Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends ran for 79 episodes between 2004 and 2009. It features a secret home for children's imaginary friends after their child has outgrown them. 8-year-old Mac is told by his mum that he is too old for his imaginary friend Blooregard. He brings him to Fosters in the hope of finding him somewhere safe to live- and where he can visit him every day. The series was created by Craig McCracken, Lauren Faust and Mike Moon.

Courage The Cowardly Dog ran for 52 episodes from 1996 and 2002. The series followed the exploits of the ironically named scaredy-dog Courage as he lives with his loving owners Eustace and Muriel in Nowhere, Kansas. The series was created by John Dilworth.

The Complete Collections will be available to buy from October 18.

Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Complete Series

Ed, Edd n Eddy tells the story of three best friends, who band together to tackle life's most daunting challenge - puberty. Though they have the same first name and live on the same cul-de-sac in the suburbs, the three youths have very different personalities, which contribute to the confusion, contradiction and just plain awkwardness that defines growing up.
