Crunchyroll Announces Additional Winter Titles

Everyone knows that January means a new year. But for anime fans, it means something more exciting- the winter anime season. Having previously announced a large slate of new and returning shows, Crunchyroll have announced a number of additional titles.

The season launched this week with titles such as The Classroom Of The Elite Season 3, The Demon Prince of Momochi House, MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES Season 2, A Sign of Affection, and the highly anticipated Solo Leveling.

Newly added titles coming to Crunchyroll include Blue Exorcist -Shimane Illuminati Saga-, Kingdom Season 5, Mr. Villain’s Day Off, and more. Additionally, ongoing titles such as Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, The Apothecary Diaries, and Shangri-La Frontier return with new episodes after a break for the Holidays. The legendary One Piece returns with the all-new Egghead Island Arc.

New Titles

Blue Exorcist -Shimane Illuminati Saga- (Studio VOLN) 

Rin and his friends successfully defeated the Impure King after his revival in Kyoto and have

returned to their daily lives at True Cross Academy. However, the Knights of the True Cross

begin receiving an increasing number of consultations about demons as a wave of strange

events begins to spread across the world. Meanwhile, Rin and the other Exwires work to solve

the mysterious phenomenon plaguing the school. But as the True Cross Academy Festival is in

full swing, Lucifer, the King of Light and Commander-in- Chief of the Illuminati, suddenly

appears. Lucifer declares war on the Knights of the True Cross – to resurrect the demon god

Satan and rejoin the realm of humans, Assiah, and the realm of demons, Gehenna, as one.  And to do so, he states that Izumo is necessary for a certain “plan.”

Kingdom Season 5 (Pierrot and Studio Signpost)

Shin and Hyou are war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of proving themselves on

completely enjoy his days off to the fullest in this comedy that will heal your soul.

Chibi Maruko-chan (Nippon Animation)
