Annecy Awards 'The Nights Boots', 'Arco' and More

 The Annecy Festival came to a close last weekend. Traditionally, the festival concludes with the announcement of this year's winners as part of the closing ceremony. This year, 4,072 films were submitted, from over 100 countries, of which 212 were selected. This year's festival was attended by a record 18,200 badgeholders.

The winners were selected by a mix of juries and public vote. The Annecy Festival will return in 2026, from 14- 20 June.

The Cristal for a Feature Film went to Arco by Ugo Bienvenu. The Paul Grimault award was given to Dandelion's Odyssey by Momoko Seto. ChaO, by Yasuhiro Aoki, received this year's Jury Award. The Audience Award went to  Little Amélie or the Character of Rain, by Maïlys Vallade and Liane-Cho Han.

In the short film category, Pierre-Luc Granjon's The Night Boots won The Cristal, the Audience Award and the Andre Martin Award.
