Trailer Triple Bill: Princess Kaguya, Big Hero 6 and Pixar's Inside Out

The past couple of weeks have seen a number of exciting animation trailers hit the wilds of the open interwebs. In this fast moving world it can be easy to miss things, so we've kindly collected them for your convenience. You're welcome.

First up, GKIDS released a gorgeous English language trailer for the forthcoming Studio Ghibli film The Tale of The Princess Kaguya. Coming from acclaimed film-maker Isao Takahata, it looks as good as you'd expect from Ghibli, but a very different beast from Miyazaki's work. Coming off it's warmly received North American debut at TIFF (where it picked up an audience award) it will be released in limited locations across the US and Canada from October 17th.

It may not take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Big Hero 6 is none-the-less the first ever Disney animation to be adapted from a Marvel comic. The first trailer suggested a fun and charming flick with some impressive animation, but the second trailer brings the emotion and shows us the film's heart.  Big Hero 6 will hit North American cinemas in November, with a UK release following early 2015.

Then there's the small matter of the first teaser for Pixar's next- Inside Out. The film will take a look at the emotions inside a young girl's head. The first teaser has precious little actual footage, and spends most of its time trading in nostaligia for Pixar classics. Still, in this year without Pixar, we'll take it!
