Disney Featurette Previews Return to Arendelle in 'Frozen Fever' Short

Frozen Fever isn't only the condition that my nieces (and pretty much the whole rest of the world) have been suffering from for the past 15 months or so. It's also the name of the follow-up short that Disney are releasing in cinemas next month, in front of the forthcoming live-action Cinderella.

Original directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are back at the helm for the short, which takes place a few months after the events of the film. The plot revolves around the celebration of Anna's birthday. Unfortunately, Elsa catches a cold- not so much of a problem for most people, but potentially catastrophic in the one-time Snow Queen's case.

Frozen is currently the highest-grossing animated film of all time (and the fifth film overall), so it's fair to say this is going to generate some interest (to put it mildly). And just when you're about to finally get Let It Go out of your head, the new short is set to feature an all new song from the original Oscar-winning duo of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Um.. yay?!?

Frozen Fever will hit big screens by playing before Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella on March 13th in North America, with the UK set to follow on March 27th. For those of us not interested in this latest live-action update of a Disney film, we'd assume it would be available elsewhere at a later date. Disney have released a short featurette presented by the directors which gives us our first proper look at the film. Check it out below!
