AFA is Now on Patreon!

As we hope you can tell, we love bringing you AFA. Despite the fact that we're growing, we're still a pretty small site in the big scheme of things. As a result, it's not that easy to make money. It's very gratifying to hear that lots of people really believe in what we're doing. And we really want to take it to the next level. Which is why we're launching a Patreon page, so that anyone who wants to help us out (and is in a position to do so) can help us out. For anyone unaware, Patreon is a platform where you can sign up to make a contribution to help out your favourite writers, artists, musicians etc-  for a small regular contribution- normally in exchange for extra rewards.

With your help, we can do even more. More news, more reviews, more articles, interviews and more frequent updates. Unfortunately, the time when a small independent site like ours could get by on advertising alone seem to have passed. With the site currently not making money, we are limited in the content we can produce (as they say, time is money). But we promise that if you can help us out we can together make AFA into the site that animation and animation fans deserve.

Your generous Donations will be put towards things including (but not limited to)
* Site costs and overheads (hosting, Patreon fees etc)
* Compensating our writers for their work
* Covering a wider range of titles and events
* additional podcasts and video content (coming soon).

We feel our time is best spent creating content for the site for everyone, but we'd also be happy to hear your ideas for Patron exclusives we can offer in future! We are cooking up ideas for patron exclusives that include extra podcast content, including bonus episodes. You'll even get your hands on the regular episodes before everyone else!

Sign up today and you can get to hear the audio from our chat with the awesome Tomm Moore for the first time!

Check out our Patreon page now!

If you'd rather make a one off donation, you can still use the Paypal link in the side bar. Or if you want to help but don't have any cash to spare? Check out the other ways you can help, or you could even just whitelist us in your adblocker. It's a small thing that could make a big difference.

Thanks for reading. You lot rock.
