'Studio Ghibli Forever' Coming to Picturehouse Cinemas

Studio Canal are marking the June 10th release of the (possibly final) Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There by bringing the Studio Ghibli Forever season back to cinemas across the UK. Having previously announced the screenings will take place at some of the country's leading independent cinemas, they have now teamed up to bring the classic films to independent chain Picturehouse Cinemas as well.

Starting from April 29th, the Ghibli films will be playing at Picturehouse venues throughout the country right through to July. They run (mostly) in chronological order- taking a break to fit Marnie in the middle. It's a fantastic opportunity for more people than ever to see these films as they were meant to be seen- on the big screen. Even if you've already seen them all, if there's a Picturehouse anywhere near you, it's going to be pretty hard to resist for many fans!
