GKIDS Bring 'Studio Ghibli Summer Festival' to New York.

Watching Studio Ghibli films in the comfort of your own home is a wonderful thing. But there's nothing quite like the chance to see them as they were meant to be seen- on a cinema screen. If you live in the United States and have been watching jealously as the UK enjoyed the Studio Ghibli Forever season, then we've got good news: GKIDS are bringing Ghibli back on the big screen this summer Stateside at NYC's Village East Cinema.

This rare chance to see some of the best animated films ever made in their full glory is running from now until September 1st. Each film is being screened twice, once with English dub, once subtitled. If you're in New York, don't miss the chance to see your favourite Ghibli film on the big screen!
