DreamWorks Bringing Guillermo Del Toro's '3 Below', 'She-Ra' and More to New York ComicCon

Guillermo Del Toro's Trollhunters may have come to an end, but the next chapter in his Tales of Arcadia trilogy is just around the corner. Tales Of Arcadia: 3 Below is a brand new story that takes place in the town of Arcadia and will feature some characters from the earlier series. DreamWorks Animation have announced that they will be giving fans a first look at the series at the upcoming New York ComicCon. Thanks to this announcement we've also got some preview images and more details about the new show.

3 Below will shift from fantasy to science-fiction and star two teenage royal aliens who escape to Earth with their bodyguard. Taking refuge in Arcadia they must try and blend in with the local population and have to contend with High School life- as well as avoiding the intergalactic bounty hunters sent to track them down. The leads will be voiced by Diego Luna (The Book Of Life) and Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black). The series is set to debut on Netflix in 2018, but a specific date has yet to be announced.

The panel will feature Del Toro and Luna alongside executive producers Marc Guggenheim, Rodrigo Blaas and Chad Hammes.

Also at this year's NYCC, the studio will offer a look at the upcoming She-Ra And The Princesses of Power. Executive producer Noelle Stevenson will be appearing alongside voice actors Aimee Carrero and Karen Fukuhara. Aside from the panel, DreamWorks are also offering  "an immersive fan experience" based on the series at their booth.

As well as the new series, established fan favourite Voltron Legendary Defender will also be returning to NYCC. The panel will feature executive producers Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery, story editor Josh Hamilton and voice actors Bex Taylor-Klaus, Josh Keaton, Jeremy Shada, Kimberly Brooks and more. It will feature a look back on the seven seasons of the show so far, and offer a sneak-peak at the final chapter which is set to arrive on Netflix later this year.

New York ComicCon takes place from October 4-7, 2018. More information can be found on the official website.
