Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2020 Winners Announced

When it comes to awards that celebrate animation, one of the newer kids on the block are The Crunchyroll Anime Awards. First held in 2017, they have since become quite the glitzy affair, with a ceremony live-streamed from San Fransisco and presented this year by WWE wrestler Xavier Woods. Organised by the world's leading dedicated anime streaming site, they are designed specifically to celebrate Japanese animation.

The nominees are selected by an expert panel of judges and then voted on by both judges and fans. This year's ceremony took place on February 15

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaba took the coveted Anime Of The Year,  as well as awards for Best Boy and Best Fight Scene.  Mob Psycho II was awarded Best Animation andd Best Opening Sequence.
