Angel Studios Announces December Animation Line-Up

Everyone knows about the major streamers- your Netflix, your Disney Plus, your HBO Max. But there are also a number of smaller, specialist streamers, serving a more specific audience. One such site is Angel, owned and operated by Angel Studios, the company that aims to deal in faith-based and otherwise wholesome family entertainment.

The app offers a growing selection of animation, including Young David, the prequel series to David, the animated feature hitting cinemas this Christmas.  They're also streaming King of Kings, the animated retelling of the life of Jesus, featuring the voices of Mark Hamill and Pierce Brosnan. They also offer several original series including The Tuttle Twins and The Wingfeather Saga, as well as the original feature The Christmas King! A Garden Cartoon Holiday Movie!, the faith-based Christmas movie from Butch Hartman. Rounding out their animated line-up for December, they will also be streaming Kensuke's Kingdom, the adaptation of the best-selling Michael Morpurgo (War Horse) novel.

The app is available in major app stores, including Apple, Amazon and Samsung. Select programs are offered for free, but for most you'll need to become a member.

"The holidays are the perfect time to discover your new favourite animated classics and your friends from Angel are delivering you a stocking-full right through the chimney" said Angel. "From festive adventures to heartwarming epics, these beautifully animated tales will surely amplify the light of your Christmas season for all!"
