Rick and Morty Season Six Lands This September

Fresh from their successful showing at this year's San Diego Comic Con, Adult Swim keep the good news coming. Now they bring us news of the return date for their biggest series. And it's not too far away.

Rick and Morty will return for season six on Sunday, September 4 at 11pm. What's more the premiere date is international, so it should premiere in markets worldwide the same day it screens on Adult Swim in the United States.

"It’s hard to overstate the impact of Rick and Morty. More than a hit show, it is truly a global phenomenon," says Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim and Cartoon Network. "As we prepare to launch this soon-to-be iconic season, we will be giving fans a unique way to be part of the fun – so keep your eyes peeled." What could that be? We guess we won't have too long to wait until we find out!

It’s season six and Rick and Morty are back! Pick up where we left them, worse for wear and down on their luck. Will they manage to bounce back for more adventures? Or will they get swept up in an ocean of piss! Who knows?! Piss! Family! Intrigue! A bunch of dinosaurs! More piss! Another can't miss season of your favorite show.

Rick and Morty fans who can't wait that long can head to YouTube where they can watch the digital web-series spin-off  Vindicators 2. All 10 episodes are available now.

A prequel to Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender, Vindicators 2 follows the adventures of your old pals Supernova, Vance Maximus, Alan Rails, Million Ants, Crocubot and Noob Noob alongside their comrades Lady Katana, Diablo Verde and Calypso (RIP). Together the group will learn the truth behind the team's epic battle with Doomnomitron.
