Hazbin Hotel Gets A Devilish New Trailer

Prime Video
hasn't quite invested as heavily in adult animation as nearest rival Netflix. But what it lacks in volume it makes up for in acclaim. The series they do have tend to be worth a look, including Undone, Invincible and Critical Role: The Legend Of Vox Machina. In early 2024 another is set to join this line-up in the form of Hazbin Hotel.

The show started life in 2019 as a viral pilot on YouTube created by Vivienne Medrano aka Vivziepop that racked up more than 92 million views. It quickly built up a dedicated fanbase that has been waiting for the full series ever since.

The series is executive-produced and directed by Medrano. Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya-Cameron, and Scott Greenberg also serve as executive producers. It is produced by A24 and Fox Entertainment's Bento Box Entertainment.

Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, The Princess Of Hell, as she tries to achieve her goal of rehabilitating demons to cure overcrowding in her realm. She opens the titular hotel in the hopes that souls will check in and then check out to heaven. A powerful entity known as the Radio Demon offers to help Charlie achieve her goal and suddenly her dream has the possibility of becoming a reality.

The series features the voices of Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Jeremy Jordan, Christian Borle, Alex Brightman, Amir Talai, Elsie Lovelock, Jill Harris, Kimiko Glenn, Darren Criss and Keith David.

It features original songs from Sam Haft and Emmy-nominated Andrew Underberg. Their track Ready For This features in the trailer.

Hazbin Hotel's debut season consists of eight episodes. The first four episodes will debut on January 24, with two episodes released weekly thereafter through til February 2. The series will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
