Titmouse's '5 Second Night' Returns

There's an annual event in animation that perhaps only the most hardcore of fans know about. It's a tradition that stretches back 15 years and is organised by one of the most respected names in animation. Animation studio Titmouse has announced the return of its 5 Second Night with exclusive screenings in Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver.

5 Second Night is an opportunity for Titmouse animators and other team members to have a chance to bring animation to life through a series of micro-shorts. Or as Titmouse has it: "5 Second Night gives Titmouse animators and team members the ultimate playground for creativity and the chance to unleash all the quirky, beautiful, downright bizarre, and laugh-out-loud ideas that have been brewing in their minds, transforming them into bite-sized animated masterpieces"

Titmouse designates a day a year for the studio to 'shut down' allowing anyone who wants to participate to have an entire paid day off to work on their animated short. The resulting shorts are then screened at the annual 5 Second Night screening, attended by industry executives, fellow animation enthusiasts and members of the public. As Titmouse is an artist-driven studio, all works produced for the screening remain the property of their original creators.

Seating is limited, with priority given to Titmouse employees and friends. It's recommended that if you want to attend, you buy your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The films screened are not rated by the MPAA but the screening is intended for an adult audience. Some shorts may contain adult content.
