Big Hero 6 Voice Cast Announced, Full Trailer Released [Updated]

Disney's Big Hero 6 will be the first animation from the Studio to be produced based on a Marvel Comics Property. Hitting US cinemas in November (and the UK early 2015) so far we've seen little more than some concept art and a very likable teaser. The House Of Mouse has been recently releasing more details however and has finally announced the principal voice cast. Ryan Potter- best known for the Nickelodeon Kid's show Supah Ninjas- will be voicing the hero Hiro, a 14-year-old robotics prodigy.  Scott Adsit, who found fame as 30 Rock's Pete Hornberger will be lending his voice to Baymax the lovable chunky white robot who starred in the teaser. The rest of the titular heroic six are Go Go Tomago, voiced by Jamie Chung, Fred (Transformers 4 star TJ Miller),  Wasabi (Damon Wayans Jr)  and Honey Lemon who will be brought to life by Genesis Rodriguez. Elsewhere, the cast also features Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell and Alan Tudyk. Although the plot has been relocated from Japan to a fictional cross between San Francisco and Tokyo (San Fransokyo), the principal cast is pleasingly ethnically diverse both on screen and behind the microphone. The film is being prepared for release in North America on November 7th 2014.

No sooner had we posted the original version of this post, Disney decided to post the full-length trailer. And following in the footsteps of the teaser it looks absolutely fantastic. We get a good feel for the cast (with a focus on Hiro) and fall even more in love with Baymax (clearly set to be the film's MVP). We also get a good look at the villain of the piece- who looks like one of the better looking Marvel villains to grace the big screen so far. And it's all mixed in with a traditional Disney sense of fun... Check it out below!
