Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba: Swordsmith Village English Dub Launches This May

Many of the biggest manga and anime in history started life in the pages of the iconic anthology Shonen Jump. Series such as Dragon Ball and One Piece, Naruto and Bleach all came from the magazine. Perhaps the biggest currently running series based on a Shonen Jump manga is Demon Slayer Kimestsu No Yaiba.

Crunchyroll have announced that the English dubbed version of the currently airing Swordsmith Village Arc will launch on Sunday, May 28 at 1.30 PM Pacific Time. New episodes will follow weekly. The dub is produced by Aniplex of America.

The series follows Tanjiro Kamado whose family is slain by a demon- except for his younger sister who is turned into a demon herself. Desperate to find a way to turn her back into a human, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps. The series began airing in 2019 with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc,  followed by the Mugen Train feature film in 2020. The Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc aired in 2021 and 2022. The Swordsmith Village Arc was first previewed in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour, with theatrical screenings in 95 countries and regions. The Swordsmith Village Arc then started airing in April, with new episodes streaming every week.

The new arc takes the series to a new location, as Tanjiro's journey takes him to Swordsmith Village. There he reunites with two members of the Demon Slayer Corps - Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. With demons lurking nearby, a new battle begins for Tanjiro and his colleagues.
