The Latest 'Frozen 2' Trailer Heads To The Enchanted Forest

For a film that's just a couple of months away from release, Disney have done an impressive job of not revealing much about their much anticipated Frozen II. The early trailers had shown off some gorgeous imagery and teased an epic adventure but there was much still kept under wraps. We learned more plot details from D23 last month and now with the freshly released third trailer, we're beginning to get a much better idea of what we're going to see come release time.

The trailer opens with a flashback, with Anna and Elsa's parents, and their father telling them a story. He tells of an Enchanted Forest that lies to the North of the kingdom of Arendelle, and that after "something went wrong", nobody can get in or out.

Then back in the present of the world, Elsa is troubled by strange visions and voices, that seem to be the precursor to troubling events in the kingdom. "The Kingdom is not safe", warns Pabbie the elder troll. He tells Elsa: "find who is calling to you. They may have answers."

Which is all apparently the set up for an epic full-blown fairy-tale adventure. Many will have questioned the need for this sequel to exist, probably associating it with the old-style video sequels of Disney's hits which essentially remade the original on a much smaller budget. This is something else entirely- it looks like they've truly opened up the world of Arendelle, complete with enchanted forests, stone circles and giant rock beasts. It's looking pretty spectacular.

Frozen II is directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and will feature new songs from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. It will arrive in cinemas in the US and UK on November 22. Watch the trailer, below.
