'Housing Complex C' Comes To Adult Swim This October

Adult Swim has been investing in anime more heavily over the past few years. With shows such as Blade Runner Black Lotus and Fena: Pirate Princess, the network has been collaborating with Japanese studios to help produce more of the sort of anime they want to air on the iconic Toonami block.

Housing Complex C is a new original anime based on an idea by Japanese artist amphibian and produced by Studio Akatsuki (Clockwork Planet, Trickster). It centres around Kimi, who lives in a small apartment block in the seaside town of Kurasaki. Trouble seems to follow Kimi wherever she goes and soon horrifying incidents begin to occur. Is Housing Complex C home to an ancient evil?

The series is directed by Yuji Nara, with the script and original concept from amphibian. It's executive produced by Jason DeMarco and produced by Maki Terashima-Furuta of Production IG USA.

Housing Complex C was one of several projects announced to celebrate Toonami's 25th Anniversary earlier this year. Adult Swim has now revealed that the series will kick off on Saturday, October 1 at midnight ET/PT. Meaning this spooky series will arrive in plenty of time for Halloween!

Adult Swim has more anime it has co-produced on the way including two new seasons of cult anime fave FLCL and Uzamaki, based on the work of horror manga master Junji Ito
