My Adventures with Superman Teaser Trailer Takes Off

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's the first teaser for My Adventures With Superman, the newest animated series to feature the Man Of Steel. First revealed alongside Batman: Caped Crusader (which has since been picked up by Amazon), we've now got our first look at the show in action.

Produced by Warner Bros Animation and based on characters created by DC, the series will feature the action-packed, romantic and comedic adventures of Superman and Lois Lane. The series features Jack Quaid as the voice of Clark Kent/Superman, Alice Lee as the voice of Lois Lane, and Ishmael Sahid as the voice of Jimmy Olsen.

My Adventures With Superman takes place early in Supes's career and is described as a "serialised coming-of-age story". It features twenty-somethings Clark, Lois and best friend Jimmy as they begin to learn who they are and what they can achieve when they work together. The story follows Clark as he builds his secret identity and tries to discover his secret past. Meanwhile, Lois is a rising star reporter at The Daily Planet, and teams up with photographer Jimmy Olson. All the while Lois and Clark are falling in love- as she gets ever closer to uncovering his secret identity.

Sam Register is executive producer. Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher serve as co-executive producers and Josie Campbell as co-producer.

Although the show is a family-orientated series and was originally intended for Cartoon Network, it will now debut as part of an expanded run time on Adult Swim. It will make it debut on the network and HBO Max this summer.

Amy Friedman, Head of Kids and Family Programming at Warner Bros said: "Superman has remained one of the most iconic and beloved Super Heroes in the world. This fresh take from the Warner Bros. Animation team delivers a modern, relatable Clark Kent alongside a fearless, whip smart Lois Lane who are navigating the small tasks of both becoming adults and trying to save the world."
