Titmouse Partners With Cool Cats On New Shorts


Titmouse
are a world-renowned animation company. Since their founding at the turn of the century, they've been responsible for the animation in myriad series such as The Venture Brothers, Star Trek Lower Decks, The Legend Of Vox Machina, Beavis and Butthead, Big Mouth and  The Midnight Gospel. Due to their impressive track record any project they work on is generally worthy of attention.

Titmouse have announced that they are partnering with Cool Cats Group, the global character brand behind blue-chip digital collectables Cool Cats, to produce new episodic shorts titled The Milk Chug. The shorts will all feature the main Cool Cats character Blue Cat and his best friends Chugs,Jo and Ardi. The characters were all created by founder and artist Colin “Clon” Egan. The voice cast for the shorts features Dan Stevens, Maggie Lawson and Zeno Robinson.

The first episode is available now, just in time for the debut of the Cool Cats balloon at this year's Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. More episodes will debut over the coming months.

"Working on a cartoon series has been a dream of mine since I was young, and I’m ecstatic to collaborate with Titmouse to make that dream a reality,” says Clon. “The entire process has been an absolute blast and I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. I'm excited to debut the pilot episode today and share my vision for these characters and the world they live in.”

Actress Maggie Lawson, best known for her role as as Detective Juliet "Jules" O'Hara in Psych plays Jo.  Dan Stevens, known for Downton Abbey and The Guest voices the eccentric Ardi. Zeno Robinson, who has appeared in Dragon Ball Super and The Owl House will play Cool Cats Mascot Blue Cat.

Born during the early days of Instagram, Clon introdcued his Cool Cats characters as drawings and cartoons. He gradually built up a following, selling his artwork at fleamarkets and showcasing his art on the freestyle walls of Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, He soon cultivated a major following in the digital spaces of social networks. With the explosion of Web3 during the pandemic, Clon built a major cummunity of collectors and new supporters in the developing digital art market.

Cool Cats has only grown from there, leading up to this partnership with Titmouse
