ComicCon 2017 [Part Three] 'DuckTales' ,'Hey Arnold' and more

Here's our third and final round-up of the big animation stories from this year's San Diego Comic Con! You can read the first two parts here and here. Same time next year?

We've already seen quite a few clips from the upcoming new version of DuckTales, which finally arrives next month. This new SDCC exclusive clip is particularly interesting though, as it gives us our best look at the show's script, and gives us a taste of the character dynamic. It feels different from the original for sure- but still retains the spirit. It's funny, beautifully animated and the voice actors hit it out of the park. Is it August yet?

It has been revealed that Milo Murphy's Law will feature an episode that crosses over with Phineas and Ferb.  Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh (creators of both shows) have planned this crossover since the beginning. It will air in 2018.

Disney also unveiled this new clip from the third season of Star vs the Forces Of Evil.

DC revealed three new animated movies. Batman will face off against Jack The Ripper in alternate history 1888 Batman: Gotham By Gaslight. Superman will star in The Death Of Superman and The Reign Of The Supermen, which will adapt the infamous Doomsday storyline from the comics.

Over at Nickelodeon, the first clip was revealed from next year's much anticipated Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie. As with the Rocko's Modern Life clip we saw earlier, it looks like an ideal update that retains the charm of the original while bringing the animation up to today's standards.

Look out for a cameo from Arnold, Helga and some other Nick stars in this fun Comic-Con themed episode of TMNT Team Up, from Gary Doodles and Tommy Sica.

This Halloween, Sponge Bob Square Pants goes stop-motion for the special episode Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom. You can get a taste of the rather wonderful looking animation in this ComicCon exclusive clip!
