SDCC: Comic-Con At Home: Previewing The Animation Events
For the first time in its five decades of existence, the iconic San Diego Comic-Con International (SDCC) has had to be cancelled this year, because... well, we all know why. But as with many other of this year's major events scuppered by circumstances, the traditional SDCC will be replaced with a virtual edition. Although nobody would choose these circumstances, this does give millions of people around the world a chance to get something of the Comic-Con experience even if they would never normally be able to attend. SDCC normally prides itself on exclusivity- this year it's open to everyone.
SDCC's Comic-Con At Home will run from Wednesday, July 22- Sunday, July 26. Events will be live-streamed on YouTube, after which they appear to be available to watch on-demand. As always, animation will be represented by a number of events. Read on for a breakdown of the animation relevant panels.
